The travel office, reborn online.
How Travel Agency Palma transformed its website from a static brochure into a self-service booking engine — and grew sales by 30% along the way, by deploying the BookinIT platform.

From static brochure to self-service travel office.
Palma needed a website where customers could actually browse, compare, and book holiday packages — without the manual back-and-forth of phone calls and emails. We delivered exactly that, on top of the BookinIT platform.
An online platform that didn't sell
The platform Palma was using didn't support quality online sales. Visitors had no comprehensive overview of offers, package information had to be entered in multiple places, and the result was unreliable, inconsistent content on the website that made updates and searches difficult.
A modern, search-first travel office
The client wanted visitors to be able to browse offers quickly, simply, and reliably. The plan centred on rolling out the modern BookinIT platform for travel agencies — a search engine that puts exactly what travellers are looking for in one easy-to-navigate place.
The three things that changed everything for Palma.
Customer-facing search, behind-the-scenes automation, and a clean way for staff to manage every package — without spreadsheets, without copy-paste, without phone-tag.
Intelligent search engine
Every customer is different — and so are their needs. BookinIT's intelligent search system lets Palma customers find the right holiday by keyword, quickly and intuitively.
Packages are automatically tagged with the appropriate labels for continents, countries, and regions — which means Palma's agents save hours every week, and travellers find what they're actually looking for.

Real-time availability & booking
The system automatically checks availability and bookings in real time, freeing agents from writing emails or calling suppliers just to confirm whether an accommodation is open.
What used to be administrative work is now an instant lookup — agents get to focus on the parts of their job that actually need a human.

One package, entered once
No more compiling offers from different booking systems. No repetitive searching, double-checking, copying and pasting between tables. A holiday package needs to be entered into BookinIT only once — and even retired offers stay archived.
By renting an online office, a travel agency can significantly simplify its operations and reach far more customers — because anyone can search and book a vacation from home, anytime.

Palma, in use.

Palma. Since 1990.
Since 1990, Travel Agency Palma has been catering to all travel wishes and tastes by offering travel and holiday packages all over the world. In the years since, it has grown from a small private travel company based in Celje into one of the strongest independent tour and holiday organisers in Slovenia.
That kind of longevity earns trust. The job of the new platform was to honour it — to make every customer interaction feel as considered as a phone call with one of Palma's veteran agents, even when nobody's on the line.
A client who actually wanted to improve things.
This project is especially close to our hearts because it's a pleasure to work with a client who wants to improve things and knows the importance of a rational approach to making progress. We're also proud to have added value beyond the client's initial wishes — proposing and implementing a solution after thoroughly researching their actual needs, rather than just delivering the brief.
U-centrix implemented the possibility of compiling offers on the website, which was a rather large project — and they arranged it in such a way that the user experience is very good and simple. Visitors can easily organise their trips on our website, and the quality of the experience makes the process very efficient and clear. We were also very satisfied with their responsiveness and suggestions — they added various functionalities later in the process, in line with what we needed as the project evolved.
